A Jaguar MK II Jaguar, on chrome wire
wheels, is a favourite of many classic car lovers. The MK2 Jaguar
was perhaps the world's first luxury/performance sedan. Fitted
with 4 doors and with room for a family, the MK II soon became
the transport of choice for gangsters and police departments alike
in its native Britain, as well as the unbeatable champion in UK
and European sedan racing.
This car came from a first restorer of these cars, gradually upgraded
with the more modern technology of a newer Jaguar. The MK2 is
a timeless classic - its looks are totally unconventional. It
has a unique shape that owes nothing to anything else - except
the Mark 1. It is a mix of traditions with its vertical oval grille,
rounded lines, and a clubhouse interior that could only be British.
Gorgeous in the 1960s, still gorgeous today.
This 1961 Jaguar MKII with the notion of stuffing a 3.6 litre,
smooth automatic gearbox ,British Racing green wit tan interior,
Restored in 2001 with no expenses spared, this Jaguar is still
in a very nice condition, with 20.000 km's since.
